Kens Wings: The Ultimate Destination for Delectable Chicken Wings in Atlanta

Me personally I Love Ken’s. His wings are very good. I order the same thing every time mild w/ lemon pepper sprinkles or teriyaki w/ lemon pepper sprinkles. Yes it’s in the hood but truthfully you get some of the BEST cooked food in the hood. Oh and don’t forget about the food that comes in the brown paper bag ALWAYS GOOD!

Ken’s Wings is legit. Don’t let the interior or exterior look scare you away. These were the best wings I’ve tried in Atlanta! The teriyaki flavor was perfect. The price was great. The toast was a nice touch. The chili dog was great but I’ll skip the slaw next time because it has too much mayo for my tastebuds. The reason for my deduction is the wait time. It took over an hour for the order to be ready and it was worth it but I was not expecting to wait more than the 30 minutes that were estimated. My family loved the food and we’d come back. This food is for to go only. There was no place to sit inside to eat. Be ready to wait and take a nap after having it.

I've been coming to this place literally my whole life and never had one complaint. Kim (Ken as we know him) opened a laundry mat to serve the residents of historical Bowen Homes. He then opened a restaurant due to high demand to serve our residents and the surrounding community. His establishment is the exact same way I remember it being in my early childhood (90's) and should be considered a landmark. His love for what he does and his humbleness quickly tells any "newcomer" that this is no ordinary restaurant... its still home to several hundred. The work he's put in, along with his dedication, 35+ years at the same location, speaks for itself. There isn't a single item on the menu that I haven't tried... and I can't pick a favorite. His prices are still the lowest, taste quality still superb, and that toast is top-notch . So, when you step in that place, consider the history. This restaurant is just fine the way it is

They’re extremely busy so be prepared to wait for a long time. Food is good with affordable prices. But the wait can be 45 mins to an hour as soon as they open.

This is some of the best wingz ever along with butter toast. You gotta go in and order because they never pick up the phone to order. Try the mild lemon pepper wings.

The food is straight, but it’s take too damn long. If you ever try to stop here on lunch break, you would definitely be an hour late back over an hour for 10 wings and it wasn’t many people there.

Wow they still open used to eat these while hanging in Bowen Holmes they were good then…good is an understatement but I gotta pull-up man!

I'm an Atlanta native and when looking for another great wing spot, this popped up and I was reading reviews as I always do and was like, oh yeah, I'm definitely going here but then I saw the address and was like oh hell naw I'm not taking my ass over there. But I did anyway and I'm glad I did. Best damn wings I've had in years! I want to say they beat American Deli in the West End, but my heart won't let me. However, the owners have no help, they do everything on their own. It took damn near 40 minutes to get 30 wings and fries. The blue cheese is homemade and almost better than U-Bars blue cheese. I'll be back but I'll damn sure place my order, run some quick around the corner errands and come back to pick it up. Still might not be ready but the wings are really great. 10/10 but make sure you tell them to cook your wings REGULAR. if not, they'll be fried hard. Pray for your veneers before you eat. I'll be back though.
